"Kererū" Tiny House

The Kererū Tiny House is a modern, welcoming, lightweight tiny house with a super clever layout. It has two sleeping lofts, both large enough to fit a queen mattress, and both with their own set of custom storage stairs. In addition to this the tiny house can sleep a further 2 people on the sofa bed in the lounge downstairs. This tiny house was built to be a display model for the 2021 NZ Tiny House Expo, and was then sold to the daughter of a past client. The tiny house has a built-in off-grid gas heating system and is pre-wired for off-grid solar. The oven, stove, and hot water heater all operate on gas, meaning that you could be completely off the grid in this tiny home with the addition of solar. The tiny house meets the necessary regulations for size and weight (when stripped out) and is a road legal vehicle with a WOF and Rego. The trailer is an innovative detachable tiny house trailer that comes with lifting jacks to remove the trailer if necessary. All the cabinetry is custom made from high-quality plywood.
