"Kapiti" Tiny House

We love working on tiny homes with interesting exterior finishes - how stunning is the combination of colour steel and Macrocarpa timber on this tiny house! Our client is relocating back to NZ from over ‘the ditch’, and figured that a tiny house on wheels was the perfect way to have her very own home ready and waiting for her on her return. We worked remotely on the design and material selections, and sent her regular updates via our phone app with progress on the build. Our client has some DIY projects in mind to enhance the design of the tiny house, including varnishing of the walls, floors and cabinetry, Installing full height bookshelves on the wall in the lounge, and built in storage solutions in the loft. She’s also planning to do an off the grid solar installation in the future hence the inclusion of the utility box over the drawbar. It should be noted that for anyone that’s not a fan of the challenging vertical ladder into the loft, we can easily swap this out for a set of storage stairs. Thats the beauty of building your custom tiny house with us - every detail is up to you!
