"Green Hill Farm" Tiny House
Our clients - a husband and wife duo from Green Hill Farm - came to us to design this custom tiny house in the summer of 2018/2019. The basis for the design was the Littlejohn tiny house which has a very similar layout. However, the clients wanted to extend the length of the tiny house out to 8m to allow for a very spacious bathroom and king sleeping loft with a built-in storage unit. The storage unit has two hanging wardrobes a set of drawers, and a TV. There is a hidden utility cupboard in behind the TV to conceal all the TV cords as well as a place for the client to keep their internet router. The Green Hill Farm Tiny house is being used as rental accommodation until which time as clients are ready to move into the house themselves in retirement. It also features a built-in couch with space underneath for guests to store suitcases and a detachable Lagun table that swivels in multiple directions so that its never in the way. The kitchen is very practical, with a tall pull-out pantry, full gas oven, microwave, a butcher-block drawer unit on wheels, and even a dishwasher. Another clever feature of this house is the insect screens installed on every opening window which will be awesome in summer!
