"Dance" Tiny House
In August of 2018, we had the pleasure of meeting our client and her 9-month-old baby girl. She had seen the Baxter on our website and it had a lot of the features she was after. With practicality and safety in mind, she really wanted the two lofts to be joint somehow. This idea really excited us and we were keen to make changes to the design to accommodate her request. You will see in the plans a crawl space above the entry door. A safety barrier and baby gates allow the top level to be a child safe space. The home also has a custom handrail that has been fixed to the outside of the stairs to make them safer to climb. This, unfortunately, wasn't installed at the time the photos and video were taken but can be seen in the 3D render further down the page. The bench has been designed especially with no sharp corners and a lip to be able to attach a high chair too. The bathroom is also longer to allow space for a storage shelf and towel rail on the wall by the shower. With carpet in the lounge and most of the upper area, it really makes the tiny house feel cozy and homely.
