"Cherry Picker" Tiny House
Needing some extra space for guests, our clients were drawn to the idea of a tiny house. The well-traveled couple often has friends and family visiting from overseas for long periods and wanted a space that could become a home away from home for their loved ones. The Cherry Picker Tiny House is something very different to anything we have previously built. At 2.9m wide it's our first overwidth tiny house (please read more about overwidth tiny homes in our FAQ page). The tiny house has one large loft and feels very open and spacious. There are many accents of beautiful recycled native Rimu timber throughout the house including a stunning bookshelf made by a local craftsman. It's hard to talk about this house and not mention the stunning views overlooking farmlands and the ocean, placements of windows were carefully considered to make the most of the panoramic vista on offer
