"C-Tiny" Tiny House
As with many of our clients, Gilly was inspired by one of our previous builds - choosing to model her tiny house on the Tinyville design, which in turn, was inspired by our flagship tiny house - the Millennial. With each new iteration of the design we've incorporated new features and ideas to suit the personalities of their owners. Gilly could be described as colourful, vibrant and full of vitality, and we think her tiny house C-Tiny reflects her perfectly. She put her own personal spin on loft safety, adding glass safety panels, and then louvers as well to give privacy to guests. The toilet is also unique - an incinerating toilet that doesn't require any connections, making it the perfect off-grid option with minimal maintenance. The scoria red aluminium clad exterior matches her own house, which looks down upon the tiny house in it's seaside location in Bay View Napier. Gilly's initial plan to extend her airbnb business with a tiny house has been a long time coming. She researched various tiny house builders throughout New Zealand for years before deciding to design and build her tiny house with us. She then spent the better part of a year getting everything designed, built and set up, ready to launch her tiny house airbnb for the summer of 2020. Having fallen in love with it, Gilly is rather reluctantly taking bookings on airbnb now (she now fancies living in it herself!), it's likely to book out months in advance just as Tinyville does, so book now so you don't miss out!
