A year ago we could have never guessed we would have got off to such an amazing start. The Build Tiny name is certainly spreading and we are finding ourselves in publications popping up all over the place. After attending our first Home Show (Auckland) in September 2017 we received a lot of national attention. Gina even featured on the AM Show and spoke on Radio Live. Its not just New Zealand that is talking about Build Tiny. America and Canada, who it's fair to say pioneered the tiny house movement, are taking notice of what we are doing here in little Katikati, NZ. We love that we are able to promote our own business and get people thinking about living more sustainably.
We were even lucky enough to have an editorial in a MySpace magazine. The article talks about how we started in business with Gina's dream to build a tiny house. Getting the family on board, Build Tiny was created. The article describes the features of our prototype build the Millennial, and also touches on the need to find a solution for affordable housing....Tiny houses!!
