"Archer" Tiny House
This Tiny House was built by us as a spec-build using the Archer tiny house plans, meaning that we designed and built it ourselves with the intention to sell it once complete. We had found there were many people that had one or more family members that couldn't climb into a loft, but loved tiny house living, so that with that in mind we built this house with a double downstairs bedroom that could fit a queen bed, so people with accessibility issues could sleep on the ground floor. It still has two generous loft spaces, one is shown here as a bedroom, and the other we staged as a lounge. This house has had an interesting life, once complete it was donated by Build Tiny to the Katikati community to serve as the temporary Katikati Information Centre, many people visited the house during this time, and we had fantastic feedback from the community. After that the house was sold to a lovely family, so off it went down to the lower north island to serve as their home.
